7. POD Ecommerce

I actually started doing this as a way to fool Google into ranking content sites.

I added a POD store to the front page of HCU-hit sites to see what would happen and I created new POD stores where I moved content to the blog (no 301s though).

And I promoted some of these POD products/sites in newsletters and on Facebook pages.

I didn’t earn a ton of money from this as it was really just something that I was testing. But it does show promise.

I have a Shopify store that I’ve been tinkering with to really go all in with this, but I ran out of time to do anything with it for the holiday shopping season.

I really need to either do something with it or close it since I’ve been paying $39/mo for it since like May or June.

Anyways, I think if you find the right niche, this can be a great idea.

8. Facebook Bonus Program

I had a Facebook page for a gardening site get into the Bonus program. I was really just growing the page to send traffic to my site, but then I started seeing what I could do with the Bonus Program earnings.

I didn’t crack this one. Earned less than $3.00 over a few months before I tried to sell the page.

Instead, I foolishly accepted a JV where someone else would grow the Page’s earnings and we’d split them.

Less than a month later and the page was booted from the Bonus program and I still haven’t gotten it back in.

Though, to be fair, my heart hasn’t been in it.

Loads of people are crushing it with this model, but I’d be hesitant to put too much focus on it since the Facebook algorithm often changes for the worse.

Though I am currently working with someone as a JV on a page in a different niche where we’re trying to get into the program.

9. AI Music

In July, I read some stuff about AI music and how you could make money from it and I thought it sounded like a fun little side hustle project.

Like all my crazy ideas, I excitedly told my wife about it and she was interested.

So interested, that she wanted to take the lead on it. She is an award winning songwriter, so I was down with that.

She’s also a perfectionist, so needless to say this project has not yet fully got it’s legs.

Yes, we have some great songs. But not enough to do anything with….yet.

I think we’re up to like $70 spent on this so far cause the AI music creation tool has a monthly fee.

Hopefully I’ll have something to report on this by the end of Q2 2025 cause I think it has real potential.

Coming up…

I’ll share the next set of online businesses/income streams that I tried in 2024.
