Well, I picked up a DR44 aged domain in the wine niche that used to sell wine online.

My intent? POD store + content/affiliate site = rank and bank.

Early Days Showing Promise

Been slowly adding posts to this site over the last few months and have gotten up just over 20 new posts now.

And, Google seems to be liking this site.

You can see that the site was shut down around a year ago. Then someone else picked it up and did a basic affiliate site that appears to have gotten taken out around December.

Broker put up a for-sale page that got a little traffic before I picked it up in March and started trickling out content from Cuppa.

On day one, I also added two POD products to the homepage via that $5/month Shopify starter plan.

I think this is what the previous domain owner did wrong. He/she just went direct to content/affiliate site without any ecommerce aspect to it.

So now I’m about to start hitting this site with more content + a Growth Cupid Pinterest package and this site about to take off.

The goal? To get it on Mediavine Journey ASAP.

Will be interesting to see if Google continues to love it. What do you think?
