Back when chatGPT and Midjourney was new on the market, it may have been admirable to take an anti-AI stance.

Hell, even I was anti-AI in the beginning because the quality was so bad.

But today? In 2025? Being anti-AI is just foolish.

Especially in this industry.

But clowns gonna clown.

The Latest

Since I got kicked out of the Food Bloggers group on Facebook where they were on their AI site witch hunt, I’m not caught up on the latest of what’s going on with Mediavine.

They’ve been on their own crusade to get AI sites blacklisted from any type of monetization.

All this time, it seemed like maybe they were just concerned about AI content.

But it looks like they coming for images as well…

I think Mediavine is just straight up foolish for this.

But what they really need called out on is their hypocrisy.

They let obvious AI sites into Mediavine Journey and then deny those same sites into regular Mediavine with the reason “AI usage.”

Just take a look at some of the recently admitted sites here. (think you gotta give up an email address to view them)

Then there’s the fact that they’re using AI to find AI 🤡

But, getting serious for a moment here, if you can’t use AI images then what are your options? Taking photos yourself. Or, stock photos?

Well, have you noticed that stock photo sites are FULL of AI images masquerading as legit photos? Then there’s sites like Freepik where you can select that you don’t want AI images and you only want Premium images…and that shit is full of AI images.

So what’s going to happen to the people who are paying for stock photos and unknowingly ending up with AI images?
