I don’t know about you, but I’ve got $497 course sales price fatigue.

Seems like ever since HCU took out most people’s niche sites/affiliate sites/content sites, there’s been a regular schedule of $397 and $497 courses being released and heavily promoted.

The reason I haven’t done this yet is because recording and editing videos is crazy time consuming. And I could be using that time on my own shit.

The Thing About The Facebook Bonus Program & What To Watch Out For

I’ve been wanting to talk with you about the Facebook Bonus program for quite some time now.

But the thing is I don’t know enough about it. In fact, I’ve been learning more and more about it myself from someone who has had success with it.

And I’m doing terrible with it - 😂

I was told by the person helping me that part of my problem is my niche - it’s seasonal and we’re pretty much past the “high season.”

But here’s the thing you likely don’t know - and I only learned from the person teaching me -

Something happened with the Facebook algo in early June and people are seeing their Bonus earnings drop since then.

What’s really interesting about the data I’ve seen is that you may have a drop in reach but an increase in engagement, or vice versa, or even a boost in both reach AND engagement - doesn’t matter cause pretty much everyone who has been earning from this program seems to have seen an earnings reduction.

Apparently. I haven’t earned enough to notice 😂 But I’ve seen a lot of data.

But what’s worse - and what I really want to warn you about - is that a pricey course on earning from the Facebook Bonus program is just starting to be promoted…

…and I know with 100% certainty that one of the people associated with it has mentioned in a private group that he is experiencing a 50% drop in earnings from the program since June.

Can you still earn from this program? I’m sure you can - and likely more than the $0.20 you see in my own screenshot above. My Facebook Bonus program mentor is still earning over $10K monthly from this program but that is a lot less than he was earning a month ago.

BUT - I don’t want you spending almost $500 on training without knowing the reality of the situation.

Week 12 of Newsletter Life Starts Now

Today marks week #12 of doing a local newsletter on Beehiiv.

We’re currently just a few subscribers over 2,400.

Today, my wife noticed (much to my horror) that I sent out the Friday edition with a rather NSFW typo in the sub-heading…

heat. That was supposed to say heat. 😳

In terms of monetization, the local newsletter is still at zero revenue, except for the tiny amount that came in from Beehiiv Boosts last month.

We did get approved for a new email boost recently, so we will see if that earns anything.

And today we added a paid “premium” tier to the newsletter that’s just a “support local journalism” thing for a few bucks a month.

Not sure if we’ll get any takers on that, but it’s worth testing and finding out!
