📢 Did You Say Directory Sites?

Today was a day full of tedious work - moving sites from WPX to Hostinger.

So that meant listening to YouTube videos all day.

And there was something interesting on my YouTube homepage today.

From an account that I’ve never seen before.

The topic? Stacking cash with directory sites.

The Math Looks Good

I’m not new to directory sites, so I know the money in them can be good.

But, until watching all 8 of the recent videos on this channel (the rest are older videos on different/unrelated topics), I had a more narrow view of what a directory site looks like.

And I realized that I’d kinda already made some…but I just hadn’t really positioned them like that.

For example, the website for my local newsletter has a restaurants directory by neighborhood.

Anyways, what I was really interested in was how small some of his directory sites seem to be. He mentioned some of them only having like 50 pages all in.

I really like the idea of working really hard at the beginning and having something evergreen that doesn’t take a lot of monthly work.

And I realized that I have a couple of domain names that I’ve been hoarding that would be PERFECT for some directory site experiments.
