The Unnecessary Roadblock

So, if you want to sell a newsletter, you need subscribers and you need to be earning money.

Sure, in some niches people have flipped newsletters with subscribers and zero revenue.

I consider those people to be the exception and not the rule.

You can either monetize the newsletter with affiliate offers, your own offers, display ads, or something else.

The easiest way to move forward is Beehiiv Ads, right?

But it’s not exactly free to test this as you need a paid Beehiiv account to get offered those ads.

So, Beehiiv has always been key here, at least for me. But I was hung up on if Beehiiv has a way to transfer your newsletter from your Beehiiv account to someone else’s.

Or, if the flippable newsletter needs to be on it’s own account.

I’ve asked them more than once. Zero replies.

I’ve asked people who say they’ve flipped Beehiiv newsletters. Zero replies.

Until yesterday.

Finally, someone was kind enough to reply and the answer confirmed my suspicion.

You gotta give up the entire Beehiiv account when you flip it. Cause of course they can’t just transfer it.

Something to keep in mind if flipping niche newsletters is on your radar.
