🥶 Going Cold

Big shout out to those of you who sent me tips on working through this back injury recovery.

Other than regularly taking small walks, I spent the day deep in a list of cold email leads.

It’s Day 8 of me making a real effort to scale Growth Cupid. Switched gears today and ordered a list of 500 leads in the “flooring” category. Not yet ready for cold email though. (If you want more details, I’m going a bit more in depth in my Skool community.)

Not My First Rodeo

I think it’s been about a year since I last did a cold email campaign. So, I’m a bit rusty. (But the reason I only bought 500 leads is to test this service)

But I do have some insights from today that might help you in the future.

The list of leads I got is missing a BUNCH of email addresses for the businesses. And it’s not that they don’t exist, it’s just that they weren’t in the GBP or wherever they were scraped from.

So, I’ve been spending time trying to determine if these businesses actually have an email address.

I’m also noticing a shocking amount of home service businesses using Shopify for their website. They’re not selling any products on there, but still using it?

Makes me wonder if they’re using it for the payment processing? Don’t they know there’s a better way?

This is probably a good place to start for anyone looking to spin up a cheap website agency. Cause Shopify is what, $39 a month or something?
