šŸ“· Got Deposit Photos Credits?

did you get this today?

You ever get an email from a business and something just doesn’t feel right.

That’s how I felt this morning when I saw the subject line ā€œYour subscription renewal is deactivatedā€

The sender? Deposit Photos.

Number of subscriptions I’ve ever had with them? Zero.

Number of times I’ve bought that $39/$49 AppSumo deal for Deposit Photos? A LOT

Number of credits I still have in my account? 351

It’s A Bit Suss

The mostly troubling part of the email isn’t that I’ve never had a subscription with them. It’s the line at the bottom of the email that makes me think they’re making a play to take away my 351 credits…

In case that’s too small, it reads: Please note that when the plan renewal is deactivated, your remaining downloads won’t roll over to the next month

So yeah, it got my Spidey senses tingling. I posted about it on Twitter and got reports of others with AppSumo deal credits getting the same email.

Super suss.

So, you know me, I sent them an email asking if they’re making a play for my credits.

They say the email was a ā€œtechnical issue.ā€

Yet…I don’t have a ā€œplanā€ as I have credits…as I mentioned when I contacted them.

Can’t wait to see if my credits are still there next month. Put it on my calendar to check next month and see if they’re still there.

If you have credits in your account as well and got the email, ya might wanna contact them as well. Or at least take a screenshot of your credit balance now in case ya need it next month.

Coming up…

More on what I’m working on and how it’s going.

Stay awesome,
