🤝 HCU Site + Selling Links

If you’re like me, then you got a few sites that were smashed by HCU, yet still bringing in traffic.

Maybe from other search engines. Maybe from social.

But one thing is for certain, link buyers are sure as shit finding your sites.

Especially if they have a high DR/DA.

Slightly related: if you have a site in the wedding niche that wasn’t smashed by HCU, let me know if you’ll sell me a link for my wife’s ecomm site.

Gimme That Money

Several of my HCU-hit sites have a high DR/DA and get loads of sponsored post requests.

This was even before HCU.

So, I recently started responding to those requests a few weeks back for one of my sites.

Site is totally smashed by HCU but DR40+.

Started telling people that it’s $50 to do a sponsored post.

Yes, the site gets basically no traffic in Google. Ranks well in Bing. Gets good traffic still from everywhere but Google.

But it just didn’t feel right asking for more than $50….even though the due diligence is on them.

Anyways…

Had two people say ‘yes’ to the $50, one counter with $25 (I accepted) and one counter with $10 (gtfo).

In the grand scheme of things $125 isn’t a ton of cash, but it’s gonna cover the nice dinner I’ll be having when I’m in Phoenix Wednesday night. And that’s not too bad, eh?
