Regular Check-Ups Are Where It’s At

If you want to max out your Pinterest potential, then you gotta keep a close check on your account.

Cause if you don’t, you can end up hurting your account’s stats, which ends up reducing your overall visibility on Pinterest.

And you don’t want that.

A healthy Pinterest account is full of winners. This means you’re regularly pruning pins that just aren’t taking off.

Before you go deleting everything, remember that Pinterest is a long lead platform so you can’t rush this.

Assuming you’re not going after super competitive stuff, then I’d say after six to nine months of disappointment, you can start pruning.

You might also want to take a look at that pin’s description and such to make sure it was properly SEO’ed. Otherwise, you got that to fix first.

I think the important thing to remember here is that you’re essentially just cutting the under-performers.

And if you make a mistake and delete a good pin, well, you’re screwed. Can’t un-delete.

So be very careful.
