🤑 How Much I Make From Pinterest Traffic
and Growth Cupid's DFY Pinterest offer for Black Friday
I know that everyone and their dog is a Pinterest guru these days. I also know that some of them are full of shit and telling people to pin using Tailwind… 🤡
…which was the best tool at the time back in 2019, when I recommended it.
So, I’ll tell you what I use (and what the Growth Cupid team uses) and let you know how much I’m making just from Pinterest traffic.
And, I’m gonna shill the Growth Cupid Pinterest offer for Black Friday cause I gotta eat needs a new bottle of bourbon. 🥃
More on that in a moment.
But first, I’ve got just one sponsor today. So, check ‘em out for a chance at some monies!

Pinterest Saved My Niche Site Butt
It’s no secret that I’ve been a fan of social traffic to my sites for longer than most of you have even been building sites.
Pinterest has always been the best for me, though I got into Facebook pages for site traffic like 5+ years ago.
Still, Pinterest has always been #1 for me.
So, when Google clapped 19 of my niche sites with manual penalties, the majority of those now-deindexed sites didn’t completely lose all their traffic.
In addition to other search engines, Pinterest has continued to deliver for me.
And it delivers for the Growth Cupid clients, too. Like this client that we’ve only worked with for almost three months now.
last 30 days stats
Big jumps in the right direction for the two most important Pinterest metrics.
This client is getting 4 pins per day (120 pins/month) to their Pinterest account.
For my personal sites, I’m doing between five and 10 daily pins across the accounts.
For pin design and scheduling, I’m only using ONE tool - Canva. I do have a paid Canva teams account, but it’s only $15.00 a month for a Canva Pro account.
That’s right, 100% of my process and the Growth Cupid team is manual.
No AI automation tools.
Yes, sometimes I use AI images for pins (Growth Cupid team as well), but this process seems to be the best for stickiness - cause you don’t want your Pinterest account and pins to have less reach.
Yes, you can do the process on your own for cheap - if you have the time.
It’s tedious. Both the manual pin design & scheduling + the initial research to determine what works for the niche.
If you’ve got lots of spare time, then don’t sleep on it and get to work now.
As for my own personal earnings from Pinterest traffic - it’s all from sites that were either deindexed or HCU- hit. (Haven’t monetized the new sites yet)
Some I was using PinGenerator for pins to jumpstart or reactivate stale accounts, but Canva is the way forward for longevity and positive growth.
Several sites. Monetization is a mix of display ads and affiliate. Some high ticket affiliate too, like CBD. For display ads, the RPMs range between $4 and $60+.
This month, I’m projecting just under $6,000 in earnings. Nothing crazy. But, it’s realistic.
None of my Pinterest accounts get millions of outbound clicks. But I don’t care cause $6K is a decent haul. And, I know that I’m not in any of the hottest niches for Pinterest.
Maybe I’ll do an AI recipes site in the future just to see what the clicks are like.
Coming up…
Upcoming topics: more tips and ideas on Etsy and KDP, how it’s going with my chatGPT fiction ebook and the AI music thingie, and growing an ecomm site.
If you have a topic you want covered just reply and let me know.
Stay awesome,
Shawna
