Honestly, I don’t know a lot about Rick Steve’s travel empire.

I remember using his forum ages ago, and I usually stop on his travel show if I happen to notice it’s on.

I also knew that he has branded tours, but only because I’ve seen him mention “our tour guides” as in part of his brand.

And I know he’s always been pro-cannabis.

So when I saw this yesterday, I was surprised -

Dude makes absolutely nothing off that TV series. I’m gobsmacked by this news.

Of course, it builds amazing brand awareness and credibility.

Fucking genius.

Then, where was this reply -

Wow. Just wow.

I looked at this tours page and this guy is living the dream. He’s getting paid to travel simply by taking a few people with him and showing them around.

He’s built a travel empire and clearly he’s a fucking genius.

Powered by cannabis, I assume. And they say it destroys brain cells.
