šŸ‘ Like Sheep To The Slaughterhouse

invited by the fox?

You’d think after Google had that little Creator’s Summit last year, that we’d never hear about such a thing again.

Cause you’d think that anyone invited would know it’s a fruitless endeavor.

You’d have to know, right?

Or else you’d be a complete idiot.

Well, apparently there’s at least 7 site owners who chose the idiot hat.

But…it gets worse.

Gaslighting & Lobbying Day!

The other week I’d seen some rumblings about a new Google Creator summit.

I thought it was all a bunch of BS cause surely no bloggers would show up to another one of those.

Right?

But show up they did.

If you click through that Twitter image above, you’ll be able to read the rest of that and click through to the update from one of the seven people who went.

I do want to warn you that if you try to read the blog post, it will likely result in many eye rolls.

But, it did help me understand why someone would go to this after hearing about the last one.

ā€œI was one of only 7ā€¦ā€

ONLY

or ā€œThis makes me feel specialā€

Anyways, this is a much different update compared to the people invited to the previous Creator Summit.

Guess Google got exactly what they wanted.

Reading the blog post left me thinking about one thing: Stockholm syndrome

But the standout comment about this, at least for me, came from another Twitter thread-

They literally took the attendees to lobby on their behalf at the first one!

Don’t remember hearing about that the first time around.

Definitely worth reading the comments above and below the linked Tweet above.
