About a month ago now, a dude on Twitter uncovered a team behind Forbes Advisor and some USA Today and CNN website sections are basically a JV parasite SEO play.

It was fascinating reading (and you can find the articles in the links above).

And now, an anonymous account on Twitter has discovered a possibly worse abuse by a completely different company.

I was aware of them because they used to buy a lot of niche sites. And because this guy mentioned in a video I watched that he got a job there after selling a site to them.

Back when I first heard of them, I did a deep dive and got so curious about their processes that I even applied for a SEO job there in an attempt to do some recon.

lol - I wasn’t qualified, apparently

So, I never did learn how they took their less than impressive (or different from anyone else’s) sites to the mega bucks.

But apparently, it was all about partnering up with big brands and doing a parasite SEO play.

Meanwhile, bloggers and site owners who are really putting in quality time on their sites got smashed by HCU…
