Oops

Kinda crazy that it’s been over two weeks since I sent out an email to ya.

I’ve been so busy that I kinda forgot about this email list. For reals.

In addition to agency work, my Pinterest project, some KDP stuff, and a zillion other things I’m doing, I’ve also started packing & selling things so that I can move.

I expect in early January that we’ll temporarily be helping my brother out while he adjusts to being a single dad.

Once that’s over, or by April if it takes that long, we’ll be moving back to Europe.

Partly cause that was always the plan. Partly cause our health insurance costs, like most Americans, are going to be a laughable amount (~$1,500/mo) come January 1st. And partly cause,

Catching Up

My Pinterest site is continuing to grow. Granted, I started out targeting seasonal keywords, so the real test will be how it does after the holidays are over.

Moved an old site that used to be on Ezoic to a new domain. Traffic started zooming up. Applied to Ezoic with the new domain…and they rejected it. 🤡

Literally nothing has changed but the domain. Content was written before chatGPT. Zero new content has been added. Wild times.

Right now I think I have more sites earning from AdSense that I’ve had since like 2005 (cause of the weirdness with Ezoic). I was into made-for-adSense sites back then so I had a shitload of sites made for ads.

Been doing some interesting stuff with Reddit Marketing, too. Both for myself and for clients. It’s still one of the best opportunities out there if you know how to write for Reddit.

I talk about Reddit on the podcast episode I recorded with Doug Cunnington a few weeks ago. I expect that will be out on his channel soon.

Still getting “gift books” up on Amazon via KDP. These are just book ideas that I think people will buy as gifts. They’re low to medium content books. And evergreen.

They may sell or they may do nothing. Either way I’m having a fun time with them.

Also prepping to launch a new POD ecommerce store in the next few days. Got get that sucker live so I can run ads for Black Friday.

I’ve been spending a lot of Facebook ads in recent weeks/months, too. Testing lots of stuff and offers. Mostly losing money though 😅
