🎲 Pinterest or Facebook?

My email inbox has been an interesting contradiction this week. I’ve got emails from people on using Facebook for traffic to your site and on using Pinterest for traffic to your site.

Are you using either?

Do you have a preference? And I’m talking specifically about getting traffic to your site - not the Facebook bonus payouts.

Still The Same For Me

I’m still firmly in the Pinterest camp.

Why? Cause it’s a lot like YouTube since the work you do today can still bring you traffic years from now.

When you log into Facebook you aren’t being served up page updates from 6 years ago, right?

One of my sites gets ~500 pageviews a month to this day from a Pinterest pin that I created almost 6 years ago.

Plus, it’s cheaper to get those Pinterest eyeballs than the Facebook ones.

All that being said, I do both. I just prefer Pinterest and when I’m short on time that is what I do.

I’ve been thinking about starting a new site just focusing on Pinterest traffic in a popular niche (like recipes) just to see what can happen.
