🤺 Pinterest vs AI Spamming

Sticking with my recent updates on Pinterest, I came across something interesting about Pinterest.

Seems like AI + Pinterest = Together 4EVA, right?

I mean, it feels like they been letting people spam for what feels like forever now.

You know, the people doing 100 pins each day. Most of those people are also doing AI.

And those days might be catching up to them.

You Get Blocked, And You Get Blocked…

I lurk in a lot of places online, and for the first time I’m starting to see Pinterest accounts get shut down.

And I have a feeling that those cunty bloggers in the Recipe Bloggers Facebook group are why.

From looking at this guy’s tweets, he spent 6 months growing this site. The site is in the recipes niche and on Mediavine Journey.

It was getting 4K clicks DAILY from Pinterest.

He says Pinterest told him he was spamming by pinning 20 pins daily.

He used Canva for scheduling. He says he was using “high quality ai generated images with text overlay , and the content is AI as well there is no copyright on this. Each pin refers to one only URL.”

So, that leaves the question - was his website blocked on Pinterest for pinning 20 times a day or for AI content + images?

Well, there might be something else..

Say what now? Did Pinterest tell him they asked users about the quality of his recipes?

Are they doing that?
