šŸ’° Q4 Pinterest

bring it

If you’re a paying customer of PinClicks, then I hope you caught that webinar that Tony Hill did yesterday.

I’ve been using Pinterest as a traffic source since forever and I learned a ton from that webinar.

There is a recording, so ya might wanna ask for that if you missed it yesterday.

But real quick…

It’s Day 10 of me making a real effort to scale Growth Cupid. Did a lot of little things today - joined more business networking Facebook groups and did a promo post, worked on ideas for YouTube videos, worked on a social media calendar, and worked on some more Facebook ad ideas. (If you want more details, I’m going a bit more in depth in my Skool community.)

(Quick reminder - you can see my recent emails in the archive here)

Need some citations for a client, rank & rent, or local directory site? I’ve got a yearly Unlimited plan for Jacky Chou’s 450+ local citations.

I’m reselling these for $20. Use the form here to order. (click the add-on box)

So, Pinterest…

I’m not going to share the link to the recording or anything since it was only for paying users, but I will give you some of my thoughts real quick.

The webinar was around two hours long, but it didn’t really feel long. That’s how you know it’s good stuff.

One thing you can do without PinClicks is go to Pinterest Trends and look at the searches that were popular/trending in Q4 last year to come up with ideas for this year.

Sure, PinClicks makes it easier to use that data for making new pins, but that data is still valuable.

One thing that surprised me was hearing that gift guides do well on Pinterest, even for niches that don’t normally spike in Q4 like fitness.

A lot of the webinar used the food niche for examples, which was great for me since I’m starting that food site just for Pinterest (no, I haven’t had time to do any actual pinning for it yet).

Anyways, I wish I could share more from the webinar, but I’m not comfortable doing that since it wasn’t for everyone.

I will say that it’s made me more stoked about Q4 and Pinterest for site traffic. I’ve always just kinda done whatever and used Pinterest trends, but now I feel like I kinda have a proper plan.

Coming up…

More on what I’m working on and how it’s going.

Stay awesome,

Shawna
