After almost a full month of travel, I’m back at my home office desk and ready to crush it.

Met up with some readers and industry friends along the way. Always a nice time meeting fellow online hustlers.

And I’m reminded how taking time off gives you a much needed recharge and I’m full of new ideas and things that I want to tackle here in the second half of the year. So, let’s talk about the first item on my list.

AI + Amazon = Info Books

I’ve got some AI/AI-assisted ebooks up on Amazon in fiction that together with my ghostwritten romance books make me a few hundred in “passive” income each month. And now I wanna branch into info books, like I’ve talked about in the past.

So, why now with the info books? Especially after I’ve talked about doing this for almost a year.

Well, I got myself a new directory site idea and it’s PERFECT for a series of non-fiction books as a monetization strategy. I’ve owned the domain I’ll use for over a decade with no idea what to do with it! I’ll give you more details on how I’m doing directory sites soon, but the tl;dr is scrape Google Maps with Apify and then build the directory on WordPress.

Anyways, I foresee minimal editing needed for these non-fiction books cause I already did some testing for the niche in chatGPT and it’s looking pretty good right outta the box.

The difference, at least for me, when it comes to non-fiction vs fiction is that I’ll also be doing print books in addition to the ebooks. That’s cause my previous experience has shown that non-fiction readers tend to be bigger buyers of physical books.

And with print books, you gotta do a slightly different upload for your book/cover since it’s a whole different beast from just ebooks.

The best part about the books is that the only real cost will be chatGPT, which I already pay for. And, of course, my time. But I find this sort of stuff a lot of fun, so I’m cool with the time spent.
