My YOLO Pinterest Strategy

I’ve been doing Pinterest for years to get extra traffic to my sites, but in recent months I’ve been testing something a bit different.

Let me set the scene for you - 19 sites issued manual penalties + deindexed by Google for my crime of publicly trash talking them and their ability to find AI content.

Some of those 19 sites were empty WordPress installs, but most of them were getting traffic and already had Pinterest traffic.

But a few months ago, I realized something…

Google is never going to lift those manual penalties, which means that I no longer need to worry about things like topical authority and “staying in my lane” in regards to the content I publish.

AND - Pinterest doesn’t care if you’re an automotive site that’s pinning recipes and home decor stuff.

AND - the ad networks don’t care either cause when you make money, they make money. (and no, I wasn’t doing this on my site that got removed from Raptive cause that one still ranks in Google)

If you’ve got sites that have been crippled by the HCU classifier for more than a year now, then you’ve got nothing to lose either.

So, YOLO that shit and load up your Pinterest boards with content that will send traffic back to your site so that you can profit.

I’ve been doing this for months with my de-indexed sites, but I only recently realized that this YOLO Pinterest strategy is good for sites clapped by the HCU classifier.

And after a Jesse Cunningham video auto-played for me on YouTube after a podcast I was listening to ended, I realized that he’s been doing the same with his site that got deindexed by Google.

Now, here’s the most interesting thing that I’ve learned about this strategy - some of my sites are now getting MORE traffic than before they got deindexed. Isn’t that crazy?

And to anyone who looks at the site on Semrush or Ahrefs, it just looks like a dead site while I’m over here banking money by YOLOing it on Pinterest.
