🤑 Rethinking Website Monetization

If you’re like me, then you probably have a bunch of domains that you bought and never did anything with.

Right now, I have a bunch of domains that are up for renewal that I bought before HCU and now aren’t viable for simple content sites.

Some of these domains I’m letting expire. But some of them I’m still interested in building out.

But how?

Hello, Advanced Reasoning

ChatGPT’s o1 advanced reasoning is what I’ve been using. I pay for the $20/month chatGPT plan and it gets you a limited amount of messages at this level each month.

I think the $200/mo plan is what gets you out of that limited messages thing.

Anyways, have you used this? It’s amazing for getting ideas on how you can monetize domains.

I have an unused domain in the divorce niche and here’s some of the ideas it gave me:

• Divorce-Themed Party Supplies ecommerce

• Professional services directory

• Offer courses on topics like “Rebuilding Self-Confidence,” “Rediscovering Your Passions,” or “Post-Divorce Financial Planning.”

• Host retreats or workshops for post-divorce “new beginnings”

It gave me like 20 ideas overall and I’d say that maybe 90% of them are pretty great. And what’s interesting is that I could do more than one of them on the same domain.

The best part is that I would never have come up with most of these ideas on my own.

Then that got the wheels spinning in my brain…

I bet this model is amazing for creating KDP non-fiction books. If I didn’t have so many other things on my plate right now, I would 100% be testing this out with that $200/mo plan.
