The $110 Ad Promo Day

So, this promo was scheduled through Written Word Media at a cost of $110. This is a newsletter promo ad with 421,000 subscribers on that email list.

Unfortunately, they don’t give you any sort of stats in terms of opens so you have no way of knowing just how many people actually see the ad.

One thing that surprised me was that my book was the ONLY book in the entire newsletter yesterday.

Maybe no one else paid?

Honestly I expected it to be full of all the romance subgenres.

Anyways, here’s how my stats looked the night before the Freebooksy promo-

And here’s what my stats were looking like when I got up yesterday morning -

So, quite a few downloads had already show up by the time I got up.

Any guesses for the total processed orders for the day?

That’s a lot of orders, yo. Interesting bit is that some people who pay for Kindle Unlimited actually got the book through there, so I started making some money on KU page reads.

But real talk - that’s not even 1% of the stated 421,000 subscribers.

Anyways…

Here’s what the stats looked like last night.

The real test here is going to be the pre-order sales for the other two books and if the books continues to get sales/borrows once the promo ads are all done.

Also, got a lot of good feedback on Reddit and Facebook. People are loving the cover, which is great since I made it! lol

Some reviews and ratings are showing up on Amazon and Goodreads. While I’d prefer 4 and 5 stars, I know that GoodReads uses “3” as “I liked it” so I’m cool with it.

Hoping for more 4s and 5s though!
