A few days ago I was looking at the Mediavine json file.

I can’t remember what I was looking for that day, but I stumbled across something interesting.

A really nice looking directory site in an interesting niche.

And it had a hidden monetization strategy.

When I was first poking around the site, I found the normal monetization - display ads (duh, it was from the Mediavine json file) and a listing fee.

The listing fee was only for rush submissions.

Then I found the hidden pages.

Recorded a short video on this.
