🙈 Stop Focusing On The Wrong Pinterest Metrics

Impressions aren't it

In partnership with

I know I’ve talked about this before, but I keep seeing people who are focused on Pinterest growth focusing on the wrong thing in Pinterest analytics.

Sure, your impressions number probably looks really big.

Doesn’t really matter much though. Cause something else is more important.

More on that in a moment.

But first, I’ve got another sponsor today for you to check out. You know the drill 👇👇👇

It’s Not What You Think It Is

Pinterest, when done right, is like turning on the fire hydrant of mega traffic.

I’ve been using Pinterest for years, but even I am putting more focus into it these days.

And I’ve seen some sites get more traffic today than before HCU was even a thing.

But I’m also working with a lot of clients through Growth Cupid who are using our DFY Pinterest Management services.

Recently the Growth Cupid team was working with a client who needed someone to take over their Pinterest account and actually grow it.

He’d been doing it on his own using one of those Pinterest automation tools and wasn’t getting a lot of traction — despite the Impressions number looking good to him.

But he wasn’t focused on the most important metric on Pinterest — Saves.

Saves is what helps boost you in the Pinterest algo — but how do you boost saves?

For this client, we just started doing custom pin designs 3 weeks ago. Result? Everything is trending up 📈📈📈

But most important — that 80% increase in saves. And we’ve only just got started with growing this client’s account.

Custom, eye-catching pin designs is only the first part of the equation though.

It’s also a good practice to focus consistently uploading pins to feed that hungry Pinterest algo.

Don’t re-use the exact same images, titles, and descriptions when uploading pins.

Also make sure that you’re always putting something keyword-rich in the alt tags for your pins.

Cause all of these little things add up to your success on Pinterest.

Just make sure to remember that Pinterest is a long-lead platform, so the work and effort you start putting in today may not product results until a few months in the future.

And if you want Growth Cupid to do the heavy lifting for you by designing awesome pins and getting them all scheduled for you in Pinterest, don’t miss out on our limited time Better Than Black Friday sale for our Pinterest packages. It’s a sweet 50% off savings.
