It’s a lot like me doing this daily email newsletter schtick.

I just started it by slowly working up to daily writings. I can admit that I hated it at first, but now it’s just a thing I do each day.

Much like this local newsletter that has been driving me crazy.

If local newsletters are on your radar, then you may find this Twitter thread interesting.

I’ve been open about the challenges that I’ve encountered with this endeavor. Monetizing it has been a nightmare.

I keep debating if I should throw in the towel and try another locale or keep trying to make things work.

But that Twitter thread has me thinking that maybe part of my problem is comparing myself to other successful newsletter operators.

Yeah, maybe part of it is that Vegas people are a shitty audience for a local newsletter. And maybe part of it is that I had unrealistic expectations for this market.

And no, I’m still no closer to my path forward here. But taking action now…okay soonish…is better than doing nothing.
