Topics + Analysis = Traffic Avalanche

When I first started using Pinterest, it was as an additional source of traffic.

And I didn’t really have a strategy. It was just create content for site, then make a pin for that content. Pin it and hope others who visit the page also pin it.

That’s no strategy.

It’s laziness and Hope-EO, which is what I call the lazy ass attempt at SEO where you just hope it works without any real effort.

But a few years ago I hit on a pretty amazing strategy that works every single time.

And not only it is repeatable and easy - but it’s free. No paid tools required.

But, here’s a quick how-to:

• Go to https://trends.pinterest.com/

• Do topic/keyword research here

• Look for things that are positive numbers in all columns

• Skip anything that won’t be trending in 4 months (cause it may take that long for your pin to rank)

• Refine your search with the Interests filter on the sidebar

• Click through Popular Pins to get ideas for pin design and content titles
