🫣 Yup

If you read my previous email, then you may remember me saying that I hoped I wasn’t about to lose my Facebook ads account.

Guess I played with fire too much?

But I’m also a bit confused. You see, the ad for the political Shopify store is still running just fine. (and all my other ads)

The problems didn’t start until I queued up an ad for Digital PR Backlinker. This is the error I’m getting.

I saw on a different Reddit thread that you just need to verify your phone number. No problem, right?

Well, my cell service is through Google Fi and I’ve noticed in recent months that this isn’t deemed a “valid” phone number by a lot of online verification tools. So I bought a Mint Mobile sim card months back…same problem.

Had to get an ATT sim card for a month back then. Guess I’ll have to do that again.

I hate Facebook.

But let’s talk about something else I’m working on.

KDP + Q4

Last year I wanted to hit Amazon hard with gift books. Had lots of ideas…that I never got to.

But this year, it’s going to happen. For the first time, I’ll be trying out low content books. In fact, getting some of those uploaded today (and a few the other day).

These ones are niche journals.

Slightly related - I discovered today that there are crossword and word search templates on Canva if you wanna make activity books. Honestly, after finding those today I just might try it.

This got on my radar today after getting recommended a video from this YouTube channel. I love this woman’s whole vibe so I’ve been watching a lot of her recent vids.

Speaking of YouTube…new video up on my channel today.

And while you’re on YouTube, look for the Bookbeam video that I did last year. That’s the tool I use and HIGHLY recommend if you want to jump in and try to make some Q4 monies from putting up books on Amazon.
