Whenever I’m doing monotonous tasks, I listen to a podcast or YouTube video and I found a pretty good one today.

So, it’s a list of the best businesses to start this year, and it’s from a pretty good source….assuming ya wanna flip the business eventually.

Who Better To Listen To?

If you want to start a business that you intend to flip, then who better to get advice from than someone who works for Empire Flippers? (It’s Greg.)

The videos I’m referring to are on the Empire Flippers YouTube channel and the first one is right here.

The videos are relatively short, so I’m not going to give everything away here.

I will say that I like how he’s evaluating each of the business ideas, but I do disagree a little with him on newsletters.

Of course, when I’m talking about newsletters to flip, it’s more than just a simple newsletter. I like to think bigger about these, which I’m sure you noticed in niche newsletter ideas #3 a few days ago.

Depending on how many monetization streams you can bolt onto your niche newsletter, I think you’d get a healthy multiple.

Honestly, this is no different than when I was flipping niche sites.

I also find it interesting in how low he ranked KDP as a business model. I mean, I agree with his reasoning and add that Amazon has always been a shit partner.

But I also think there are ways, like with a newsletter, to strengthen that foundation.

Oh, one more thing I wanted to note - the business type he calls “leads” that is just rank & rent. He mentions that it is best done via an agency as something else you offer….this is exactly what I was recommending to you.

And I’d still recommend trying to flip the R&R site to a local business for a few grand.
