👷‍♀️ New Project Incoming...

How was your weekend?

We’ve been having warmer weather than usual in Vegas, so I spent some time out enjoying that before the cold & rain arrives in a few days.

Also spent some time booking travel.

And, I spent some time doing keyword research for a new project that I wanted to start this week.

What I should have done is responded to emails…but I am way behind on that (sorry!).

Trigger = Pulled

The keyword research paid off. (I think?) And I bought a keyword-rich domain name today for this new project.

The project?

A directory site.

I recently talked about having my idea of a directory site expanded, which was the inspiration here.

I’ve never done a full-on directory site, so this will be an interesting experiment for me. But I really like the idea of only needing to do it once and not really have much upkeep. Kinda like programmatic SEO, right?

Anyways, I got the domain name. I got it on my favorite cheap web host. And got WordPress installed.

Not sure I’ll do anything else meaningful on it today as I need to check out some directory plugins to see what I need.

I know I want one of those clickable maps of the USA, but not 100% sure which plugins have them.

The plan is to get the site up, do some link building, and hopefully flip it for some decent monies.

Display ads will be my monetization target, but I think I may be able to do a KDP ebook/print book play as well.

I’ll keep you updated on how this one goes.
